Firm Bristles are crafted from natural Tampico fiber. Tampico is a plant-based fiber that stems from a cactus type family native to Mexico. Once leaves are harvested, dried, and cut, they are typically dyed darker. We opted out of the dying process so only the best, natural bristles keep that magnificent facial hair in line. Tampico creates a medium-firm bristle that is gentle on the skin but does not compromise on taming or oil distributing duties. We’ll also note that Tampico carries a slight vegetal scent that will dissipate with use.

Soft Bristles are courtesy of BioniFil fiber- a high grade synthetic engineered to mimic the same qualities of boar hair bristle. It evenly distributes oil while removing contaminants from your beard. It’s also easy to clean, so regular use of beard oil or beard balm in your routine is no worry.

Firm bristles are recommended for thick or textured hair, or those with long beards. Soft bristles are recommended for thin-normal thickness hair, or short to mid-length beards.
